A nice cup of tea

Elsewhere it has been stated that “disputes can be solved over a nice cup of tea,” and another soul has remarked that this is a rational approach.

I was tempted to suggest that failing this rational approach, they could still be rather terminally solved over a nasty cup of tea. (One of my friends has a mug labelled Arsenic that he uses when he deviously invites Tory canvassers in for a cuppa. Something like that.)

But I resisted the temptation to pollute that other thread with the idea.
