Happy new year everyone! Let’s make 2018 a great year for RISC OS, and a great year for all of us.

Happy New Year! We’re almost 16 hours into it here in NZ and I haven’t broken my resolutions yet… maybe tomorrow :P

Happy New Year to everyone. Wish this year will bring peace to the World, and success and growth to RISC OS.

I expect you all know the story of a new year party at the UN? The hostess had suggested that everybody tell their wishes for the new year, but unfortunately while the British ambassador was out of the room (he had drunk quite a bit). The French ambassador wished for peace in all lands , the Swedish ambassador an end to slavery and the exploitation of refugees , and so on. When the British ambassador re-entered the room, having heard none of this, and was asked what he wanted for the New Year he replied A bottle of Scotch .

Wish this year will bring peace to the World, and success and growth to RISC OS.

Isn’t it a bit ambitious? :)

I would like it to be so, but, statistically about as probable as world peace breaking out! Many of us are very old! The best we could hope for is making the best of what time we have left!

Some of us will survive, though, and to those, Happy New Year!
