Keeping cool

That’s extremely interesting. Coffers are empty for now unfortunatey. The heat issues with the Pi3 made it a little difficult to use. It’d be around 60* at idle. |

It’d be interesting to see what’d happen to a Pi3 outside. But not enough to destroy the hardware. I’m living in literally the hottest part of this planet right now. @DavidS. TBQH I did splurge on a new piece of hardware a few days ago. As much as I wanted it, it wasn’t a Pi3B. |

Coo, could you drop a line to the earth core research people and maybe send a piccy or two? Oh, the hottest part of the surface :) |

Hey, it’s Australia (otherwise known as the place where your garden considers you dinner). Give them a couple of weeks… ;-) |

My compass isn’t working too well and the phone reception is rubbish down here. Yes the hottest place on the surface. Now I think of it what I just said still holds. Hottest part of Australia too. Officially it’s been pretty much consistently hitting 46*C by the evening every day. Most of what’s in my yard is dead now. Not very interesting for the fauna. |
