GCCSDK & GCC Update

I’m not sure if this post is the right place.

Just been doing some digging in an idle moment and realized that our GCC is getting a bit behind the current version (as I understand it we use 4.7.4 and the current version is 8.1).

What would it take to update? Is it worth updating?
