A couple of lines of BASIC ought to do it. *Close *Shutdown SYS "OS_Reset" Call it something like “KickMeHard” and stick it in $.!Boot.Library. Then, when you want a hard reboot, just enter |

It’s a fairly trivial change to FileSwitch FSCommands and its *Command definition to allow 1 parameter.

I think Jon was asking for something where the equivalent of the Unix/Linux “shutdown -r” produced a shutdown and reboot. Which, I think, is what TaskManager_Shutdown is supposed to do when bit 5 is set. Quite a useful modification to Switcher I would have thought. And in a posting crossing with mine he basically affirms that. |
