David, just been having a look at the Haiku wifi driver. It does look a good fit:
An idea. Debugging things over USB is quite painful. Have you considered first writing a driver for a non-USB device (eg an Atheros PCI card in Iyonix)? That means you can get the wifi stack working and the driver side up, and then port the transport layer over to USB, by which point you’ll have a much better idea how the wifi device works. That assumes the architecture of USB and PCI wifi devices is similar, of course. |
