VFPEmulator ?

Is there any merit in having a VFP Emulator to allow VFP built stuff to run on non-VFP systems? Something that would be nice would be to build Python with VFP, but maintaining two versions of not just the interpreter but all the extensions could turn into a bit of a nightmare. Or, could RPCEmu be modified to support VFP on it’s emulated processor? I believe RPCEmu is the only widely used system without VFP. |

+1 Yes there is merit in a VFP Emulator, as to RPCEmu being widely used, I’m not sure how it compares with the user base for VirtualAcorn (much the same thing, emulating a RISC PC) Have a discussion with Peter Howkins about what RPCEmu could do? |
