Media Player

I Posted this on The Pi Lists got lots of looks but no replys?? will we have any luck here??
What ever happened to Cineroma the Media player written by David McEwen??
I seen it demonstrated years ago at a user group i think it was the London user group.

I don’t know if David is still around but it would be great to see this on the Pi.

Has anyone tried to get in touch with David to ask him because he said that Cineroma"will definitely be open source – ideally LGPL, but probably GPL unless I can negotiate down a couple of licenses."

It looks as if David is now at SuperMassive Games. Perhaps someone could try tweeting their design director, @jetbootjack in an attempt to pass on a link to this thread.
