Legible Wimp error boxes

When a single-tasking app that switches MODE is run from the desktop and it errors, the Wimp currently displays the error dialogue using a font that is invariably too big to be legible. It would be nice if it was aware its not in the configured Wimp mode and displayed the error using the stock unaliased System font instead. |

and wrote the error to a file for later reading – or is that the first requirement and the wimp error box secondary? |

Couldn’t it just change back to the Wimp Mode before displaying the error? |

+1
Wast there already a way to capture all the error messages? Or do I remember wrong? |

That would also be good for me too. |

That would probably be WimpLog – I’m not sure of its compatibility with modern RISC OS 5, although ISTR running it on an Iyonix. |

Not a problem up to and including current dev version! Works fine! |

Haaa thanks! My memory isn’t entirely fried yet then :)
Thanks John, good to know, I’ll give WimpLog a go on my machines then, it’s always good to have it! |
