Four colour modes

Has anyone made a rmmodule to allow the use of four colour modes on newer RO machines?

What are you using that’s so old it doesn’t support 256 colours?
The only two things I’ve ever come across in RISC OS that required four colours were that ancient demo of Sibelius, and Druck’s window manager example.
The latter worked just fine under Graphtask, and I think I ran the former on an emulator, but it looked kind of icky due to the lack of colours.

Create a 2-bit sprite, output to that, blat to window.

Simply go to Display Manager on your Titanium and select the 4 colour mode

I see 4 greys, but not 4 colours.

You are allowed to change the palette ;-)

If you’re using a Pi and have GPU mode change disabled, !ADFFS will emulate the legacy modes. As for other “newer” machines, I’ve had no feedback so can’t say what it will do.
