Ability to manage modules from the desktop.

I believe !Modfiler used to do this job back in the mists of time, it was freeware and is still available in various FTP archives of the period. However, the BASIC !RunImage just doesn’t want to work. I guess I’m writing this to see if there’s call for an easier way to manage modules and perform tasks like dumping out workspace and the like or killing them from a filer / GUI like interface. If so, I might be able to work out how to get this !Modfiler up and running… |

I found that Verma did not work on the Raspberry Pi, so last year I cobbled up an application !RMList that displays information about Relocatable Modules in a taskwindow. It gives name, version, date, status, base-address, size, rom-number and rma-number. It can easily be adapted to give workspace address and 32-bit flag also. It is written in RiscLua. The display functionality is written in a separate file to make it more easily adaptable. I can make it available if anybody is interested. |

It sounds like something that deserves not just to be made available, but included in the disk image. |
