More Filer keypress shortcuts

Spurred by the update of the documentation for drag and drop functional specification and a recent question about shortcut keypresses with a recommendation to use QuickFiler could I suggest that the shortcuts implemented in QF are implemented natively?

All shortcut key hints in menus to be optionally turned off by a configure setting to keep the people who don’t like the hints happy.

I would agree with this wholeheartedly … with probably minor changes. I would love to be able to ‘retire’ QuickFiler, which has done valiant service for many years.

and there was also a bounty which expired due to lack of interest.

The keys that have been implemented in RO5 – perhaps unfortunately – do not really follow the QuickFiler style of operation.
