Flip-Slide iconbar add-on thing.

Had this idea earlier, not even sure if I’d use it myself or not but since I had the idea I felt like posting it.

Note: In the below =’s mean space. But when it was space the forum destroyed the look of the thing by removing all white space (GRRR!).

This is the icon bar, you notice it is seperated into two parts. The narrow part on the left is a button, you click it for the Slide to come out.

This slide will bring out a further blank canvas iconbar which will cover over the static risc os icon bar.

Now once it’s out you can add icons to it/open things from it.

You notice however it is split into three parts.

On the far right is the close slide button (formerly open slide).

The main area is of course the iconbar area.

Finally on the left would be an up and down arrow to flip between multiple flip slides (slide iconbars will flip over to reveal the next one like a flip chart).

Due to the lack of an up and down arrow character I used 1 and 3 to show that we are on bar 2 and can either click the down arrow to flip to bar 1 or the up arrow to go to 3.

Aside from clicking on the arrows you can also hover the mouse over the slide and use the scroll wheel to go through different slides.

Configuration options could be things such as:

Close slide on launching from an icon. Move slide open button to other side of screen. Slide flip speed. etc.

Like I said just an idea that suddenly popped into my head earlier for no reason at all, but I thought I may as well post it.
