I would love to see an intergrated Devlopment Envirnoment similar to .net or VB being available for Risc OS. Being able to quickly create a user interface rapdily and linking it to code is something we have been missing for the past 20 years in Risc OS.

I’m not familiar with VB, .net. What do they do that things like WimpBasic, DrWimp, the Toolbox etc don’t?

Also, surely this is a application issue, not an OS one?

Basically it wraps everything up in a more sophistaicated way than Dr Wimp and WimpBasic.

Application issue – probably, but I wanted to raise it as an important issue to someone and not sure where to do it. I would so love to develop stuff on Risc OS if only we had a proper ‘visual’ development environment for it.
