I would like to hear more about this new technology developed by Tematic and get it released so other users can use it to develop multimedia players.

Come on Andrew, you must have something for us…

Speaking personally, I’d like to see all or at least part of this released at some point in the future. I do not expect it to be in the first batch of sources, though, because of questions over who owns what.

Speaking for ROOL, if you check out the RSS feeds on recent ticket updates in the bug tracker you’ll see we’re making good progress. Fingers crossed for something interesting at Wakefield tomorrow – along with a bunch of ROOL staff with big black bags under their eyes after a late night ;-)

Good luck guys – hope you can get something issued in time for tomorrow! As soon as you start issuing stuff, there’s a donation waiting right here.

BTW, are BASIC programmers likely to be able to contribute anything useful to the ROOL effort? Although it would only be of small benefit, perhaps some of the bundled Apps which are written in BASIC (such as Alarm, SciCalc, ChangeFSI(?)) could benefit from some work? And I’d be happy to donate my Themes Manager to the cause if that would be helpful.
