Ben, thanks for the explanation of IKHG. JB told me something similar but vaguer when I originally enquired which now makes sense, but the problem was that InternationalKeyboard was closed source at the time so making new keyboard layouts involved emailing them to Castle to test if they worked. If you release IntKey, will that provide enough to build in new keyboard layouts? |

Yes, it will. The sources also include DrawFile documentation of the existing layouts, which I suspect may not have been released (they always used to be used when printing the computer’s Welcome Guide, but even if that is still the case, I doubt all 30-odd layouts would have been included). |

I was just about to fix a long-standing limitation of the DrawFile module (correct rendering of sprites with a full 256 colour palette, which the Select DrawFile module does and which is an embarrassing limitation in RISC OS 5) when I noticed that the DrawFile is not actually part of the released sources. Since Draw has been released and Draw and DrawFile were always mentioned together I wonder whether there was any specific reason for not including DrawFile? |

I think it is just an oversight. There’s nothing sinister about it not having been released. We will try to get it released soon. |

I’d like to throw in a request for ROMFonts, especially as the FontManager is now sensibly softloadable on OS versions other than RO5 :) |
