Behaviour of Shift+Close

By force of old habits I still often pin a window using the old shift+close method.
RISC OS 5 irritatingly pins the window on the desktop right under the mouse i.e. most of the time buried beneath other windows.
Can we please have the option to let it behave like when using the “pin” icon?
