exFAT

I see that Microsoft has now documented the exFAT spec. No idea what this means in terms of patents, but it’s no longer “Microsoft Confidential”.

MS are opening exFAT up for general use via the Open Invention Network, according to a posting on Slashdot just now:

Did I mention that portable, easy-to-use, liberally licenced (1-clause BSD!) library that pretends to support exFAT?
