Copy and Paste, Drag & Drop in the Wimp

I see that this change was pushed to master yesterday. I guess those of us we some time on their hands during the holidays will start playing with the latest ROM images.

I’ll be downloading the new version of RISC OS tonight. Can’t wait to have a desktop with drag and drop text icons. A really useful feature that’s been missing since forever.

Am I wrong to be so excited by it?

I’ve used it the Copy & Paste win the Wimp, and it’s as great as it should be. Sooo glad to have this on RISC OS.
Well done to the coding Genius who would have written plenty of ARM code in the Window Manager to implement this.
