Question about RISC OS Select Toolbox change log

I have a look at the change log of the RISC OS Select toolbox modules which you can find in this discussion Many objects have an entry like this: It is not clear to me what this means. From a look in the code of the RISC OS 5 toolbox my first impression is that everything looks ok and also from using/testing it I don’t see what may need fixing (looked at and tested scale object). Does anybody know or can imagine? |

I can only guess, but does it lose track of the open state if you click adjust on the scale button when it’s open as a submenu? Or you click adjust on another menu item? Otherwise, I’ve only got Toolbox_GetObjectState in the Acorn manual, so maybe it is specific to whatever GetObjectInfo does? |

Yes, that was a good idea – but trying out pressing Adjust seems to be fine. What I did was to call Toolbox_GetObjectState inside of the factor changed event handler. When using Select it returned that the window is closed and when using Adjust it returned open – which is as expected I would say. I tested on both the ROOL and the Select version and they seem to behave the same. I was also wondering about the methode Toolbox_GetObjectInfo – it is mentioned here and when you click on it you end up with Toolbox_GetObjectState. So I guess it is either a typo or has been renamed at some point in time. |

I think it was a very long time ago. I have a pencil correction in my 1994 UIT manual for the change from State to Info. |
