Bypassing POST with RO 5.21

Is there anyway of bypassing POST with RO5.21 – on startup – for use with a emulator?

Here’s how:

1. Extract “riscos” to the root of your emulated harddrive
2. Boot as normal
4. F12 then enter the following commands:

WimpSlot -min 8192k
BASIC
*LOAD $.riscos 10000
FOR A%=&10000 TO &12000 STEP 4:IF !A%=&E5D5409C !(A%+4)=&E1A0F00E:PRINT "Patched":END ELSE NEXT
*SAVE $.riscos 10000+400000

Then move the updated RISCOS image into your RomSets folder. Make sure you also delete your cmos.ram file to reset the CMOS.

This will get it running under Red Squirrel.
