Wimp C tutorial (Steve Fryatt) and DDE27

I hope this is the right place to post.
I have started to read the Wimp C tutorial from Steve Fryatt.
I am using an OpenPandora running RiscOS version 5.23 (22-may-2017) with DDE27 (the latest available I beleive).

I followed the steps to compile (succesfully) “A Simple C Application Version 2” (Download 4.1), but when I run the compiled program, I get an error; “Application may have gone wrong…”, “Internal error: abort on data transfer at &000080AC”.

Note that the SimpleCApp version 1 does compile properly and the application does not throw any error.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is that one of the instances of things working if you give it a bigger WimpSlot?

Sorry, my mistake… i forgot to add the OSLib32 in the library list.
