Filer Bug?

Hi, Just found, what I believe to be, a bug with regards to the Filer. If you open a floppy disc (might work the same with hard disc), and menu click and select to display full info you get a different timestamp on the first item than if you opened a task window, navigated to the same drive and typed *EX. For example, one disc I’m using (happens to be an ADFS F, but I’ve also found the same with an ADFS E), on Filer I get: All other entries are fine. It’s the Filer reporting the wrong timestamp as I’ve written some code that matches the same timestamp as *EX Anyone else found this? |

Are you sure it’s not documented behaviour? Doesn’t the Filer show the timestamp of the !RunImage file inside an application folder, whilst OS calls report the timestamp of the application directory itself? |

I wasn’t aware of this, but that’s exactly what it is. Test – $.Apps. Display mode is full info. First entry, !Chars. Dated 7th June 2017. https://www.riscosopen.org/viewer/view/castle/RiscOS/Sources/Desktop/Filer/s/SussApplic?rev=4.4#l312 |
