ZeroPain with Ctrl_U and Netsurf

Hi, I get a reproducable ZeroPain report if I do a Ctrl_U to clear the text in Netsurf’s URL Bar with BookMaker running. I’m running RISCOS 5.25 14th Aug 18 and the latest Hard Disc image on a PandaBoard. I have corresponded with Nick Roberts , who maintains BookMaker, and he also gets it when doing the same in the URL bar but that points to BDRand. He has looked at my ZerioPain log and also his and thinks it may be to do with Hot Keys/Window Module. Below is a snippit of the ZeroPain log and if required I can send the full log. The events_prefilter + 480 seems a constant if that helps. From eyeballing Window’s event despatch I can imagine that if a toolbox app has a key pressed post filter, but the key press wasn’t from a toolbox app then that’d cause the pain you see – it’s trying to read w->id when w is NULL. Does this module help? Watch out for any other hotkey weirdness, I couldn’t decide where to make the change, F12 still seems to work though! |

Hi Rob,
Put the Module in !Boot.Choices.Boot.Predesk and rebooted and tried Ctrl_U in the Netsurf URL bar and no ZeroPain so I guess it’s fixed that one. I’ll have a play around and see if anything else comes up over the next few days. Thanks for yet more excellent service. Doug |
