Risc OS version on NOOBS and wireless mouse problems

Hi there, I have been using Risc OS on the Raspberry Pi with my wireless mouse (M185) for more than a year now. https://www.riscosopen.org/forum/forums/11/topics/11331 However, I am seeing this major problem in the Risc OS version installed by NOOBS using the networking-only installer. |

As far as I understand it NOOBS is version 5.26 which is just a copy of 5.24 with a different licence. The fix appeared in 5.25/5.27 so is in the current nightly build. |

Perhaps the good Mr Nuts1 would like to try either the last version of 5.25 or one of the current 5.27 builds as a replacement ROM. Perhaps also the good folk at ROOL might lie to reconsider their use of a relabelled 5.24 rather than a 5.25 which would have had various fixes incorporated. 1 May be right? Languages are not my forte, my cousin with the Spansish wife would do far better (ought to considering the degree he got) |

IMHO, it still time to provide a different 5.26 version, with some recent fixes, and ZeroPain (with a small configure plug-in to (de)activate it). |

@Steve Pampling: I have tried a nightly ROM and it works great, yes. No more mouse problems. But really, that should be on the NOOBs installed ROM by now, I think. I LOVE Risc OS, so I want the best for this OS, and having problems with wireless mouses is not good for the system :D And yes, SeñorNueces means Mr Nutz, the old french Snes platformer I also like a lot :D |

Oh, very much agree, hence my comment:
and David needs to drop the IMHO from his comment.

Perhaps, but it’s not easy to fix the limits. |
