"Alarm is already running" after saving Desktop settings

Platform: IOMD (RPCEmu 0.9.3) If you have set Alarm to run on start (Configuration > Boot > Run) and subsequently save a Desktop Settings file, you will get multiple errors of the form “Alarm is already running” at the next restart. To add insult to injury, Alarm doesn’t actually start up (although manually starting Alarm does work). |

It looks like some mutual hara-kiri; they both listen for message 400C2 (Task initialised), both see it is “Alarm”, then send eachother message 0 (Quit) and dutifully quit. It always looks to have been so, Alarm 2.70 (13-Feb-95) does the same. Slow hand clap for Desktop settings file again. |
