RISC OS 5.28 filer Pi3

I have a new installation of RISC OS 5.28 on a Raspberry Pi 3B+. I have noticed that any changes made to the filer Options are forgotten after a power down. On restart the only option ticked is verbose. On all earlier versions of RO, certainly RISC OS5.27 “Direct” running on the same Pi does remember changes made over power down. I always assumed this setting was stored in “CMOS RAM” Is this a bug? Has anyone else seen this? How can I change the default settings for this? Richard Darby |

Are any modules unplugged? Is SDCMOS active rather than dormant (try *ROMMODULES)? |

No, the defaults come from the Filer setup plug in. Run Configure → Filer and make your choices as appropriate then click Set. |

Thanks Sprow, I should have remembered that, but I seldom need to change filer settings, so it passed me by. |
