Avalanche and Scale.

On both the Titanium and RPi4 running the latest ROM 07Mar21, on starting Avalanche 0.22 a single ÿ character appears on the desktop background. It did not do that last time Avalanche was used. Running backwards through the ROMs available, 11Feb21 is good with 14Feb21 showing the fault. The relevant change is to the Scale module 0.17. Softloading a RAM build of Scale 0.16 also clears the fault.

Avalanche is perhaps not the most reliable of software, and the fault has yet be seen with anything else.

A Scale module fix is in git. This has been included in a local ROM build and the spurious write to the screen is gone. A release will appear at some point.
