ROOL breaks Chrome's simplified mode

I went to tap login, but the “do you wish to view this in simple mode” pop-up got tapped instead. Only… It showed me the RISC OS IPR part of the page. Going down, showed me the RISC OS IPR part of the page. …okay, you get the idea. Oh, and the icon being shown is the one from the ROOL Store section. Uh, okay, whatever… Amusing screenshot: https://heyrick.eu/blog/files/risc_os_ipr.jpeg |

Safari’s “Reader” manages to trim the Recent Posts list down to the bottom two posts. However, that requires manually choosing Reader from the menu bar; the toolbar icon doesn’t appear by default on pages that Safari ‘knows’ will be problematic. I’m not sure whether either vendor actually documents how their modes work; if a website owner can dictate what does and doesn’t appear, then they’re likely to force back all the rubbish that we use Reader mode to avoid in the first place. |

Works fine for Reader mode in Firefox on iPhone, so I guess we can put the bug downs as a Chrome quirk
Probably functionally similar to the Mozilla code |
