SparkFS Tar version.

SparkFS’s Tar module has been updated to version 1.51 The built module still reports itself as 1.50. The git VersionNum file is at 1.51 but the cmhg TarHdr is still at 1.50

I’d put it as a moderate fail, as it’s actually useful info. :)
As a launchpad for a pedant¹ or two – quite good.

I’m not sure what the proper solution is for SparkFS, there is the front end application, the main FS module and the archive modules. They all have version numbers. Mostly I kept them all the same. Often archive modules would only work with a specific FS module.

Once in a while there would be an urgent bug fix for an archive module and I’d probably rely on date stamps.

Maybe a case for major versions being compatible and minor versions for small fixes.

Everything all the same is easier. Anyway, work in progress, it will settle down soon.

To verify that the update had been applied the version number of the Tar module was checked only to find it looked as if the old version was still present.
