Today’s (16-Apr-23) ROM beta reports itself as 09-Apr-23. SideDiff reports ROMs do differ. |

On which platform? 16-Apr-23 here on Titanium and RPi3B+. |

RPi4B Odd… it’s a Pi. Attempt re-install, re-boot. Still shows as 09/04. Filer shows timestamp as 04:34:12 16 Apr 2023. |

Downloaded latest BCM2835Dev zip and installed it on my Pi4B and rebooted and it says 16-Apr-23 in about the operating system. |

Solved! (sort of). Helps if one doesn’t change ‘riscos’ into ‘RICOS’ when capitalising the file name. ‘Sort of’ because why did it start up at all? edit: Because renaming meant the earlier ROM hadn’t been overwritten – when’s my next optician appointment? (sigh) |

Why do that? It works quite well just as it comes out of the Zip. |

I think whether it is UPPERCASE or lowercase depends on whether it is an old 8.3 FAT filename, or a newer LFN one. The Beagle’s bootloader isn’t particularly clever so… |
