OMAP CMOS file not being read!

Title should say OMAP CMOS file not being UPDATED!

Not sure when this broke but using the latest PandaBoard ROM build/Drive Image
!Configure changes do NOT update the file (as can be seen by the date stamp not changing)
But if you *savecmos to the FAT partition it is acted upon on reboot.

Changing back to an earlier ROM but with the latest Drive Image works.
