RPCEmu 0.8.11 2Mb VRAM fail

As per subject title the recent ROM releases seem to generate an error if 2MB VRAM and 256MB RAM is selected in the configuration.

“Error: Not a heap block: FileSwitch FreeArea (Error number &185)”
the system is left at the * prompt

Either dropping to No VRAM or 128MB RAM allows the system to boot.

Similar error with RPCEmu 0.8.10 with same configuration.

Reproducible under WinXP or Win7

Anyone else find the same?

No such problem here (Win7-64 bit, RPCEmu0.8.10/5.20[10 June ’13]), with 2MB VRAM and 256MB RAM configured.

RPCEmu 0.8.11 or 0.8.11 on Win7 64bit, or XP, 2MB VRAM and 256MB RAM, RO5.21 (19-Nov-13)

OK, I will wind back a few revisions and see where the break occurs.

Forward to 21-11-13 – all OK
back to 19-11-13 – All OK

Damn, I hate it when that happens. Will-o-the-wisp errors.
