ToolAction module version 0.35

Having spent a few hours trying to work out why the app I was about to release an update for suddenly started fatally crashing, I have reached the conclusion that there is a problem in the ToolAction module version 0.35 (19 July 2014), which is in the 2nd Aug ROM I am currently using on PandaBoard. Reverting to a ROM of 9th July, which contains the ToolAction module version 0.34 (16 March 2014) there is no problem. I am using OSLib. The line of code that fails is of the form toolaction_set_state (flags, win_ID, component_ID, on/off state); The fatal error generated is Bad pointer passed to Wimp in R1R1 contains the window object ID, the same window ID being used earlier and later in the same section of code without problem. I notice from the latest changes page that there was a change to toolaction on 19 July, which appears to be a change in the makefile rather than a change in the code. Has anyone else noticed any oddites with toolaction gadgets? |

I’ve noticed the same error message using !Packman when trying to select a package I don’t already have. |

Well, that was quick! I was sent a new version of ToolAction less than an hour after I posted, although I have only just checked my mail. This new version seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks Sprow. |

I can confirm that the fixed ToolAction module (now version 0.36) is in last nights ROM. |
