RaspberryPi ROM 2015-02-03 Error

I have just tried the current Raspberry Pi beta ROM (2015-02-03) in a Model B Pi and though the mod init completes it is immediately followed by an error, stopping in the start up screen at the command line.

DataAbort: Abort on data transfer at &FC2186F4 (Error number &80000002)
*showregs gives this as offset 1330 in module FileCore

The Pi can get to the Desktop but gives a “FileCore in use” error.

There is one new error in mod init, VFPSupport => error: Unsupported VFP/NEON version, which I do not suppose is relevant.

I understand that this version of the the Pi ROM has Pi 2 stuff merged into it but should be valid for any Pi.

I am running the latest Pi 2 compliant firmware which the previous ROM (2015-01-31) is fine with.

Looks like Ben’s now committed a fix for the FileCore error.

The VFPSupport error is one for me (although I think it’s just a case of fixing DEFSUPPORTCODE in the makefile if anyone has a few spare minutes)

I wanted to update my Pi to the current ROM and HardDisc4 version to make sure everything is fine and in synch before a bug I came across.
Thought I messed up my installation first. ;)
