RC4 Screen problem

Config: RaspBerry PI B, RC14, French Keyboard, TV 1360 × 768 pixel as screen.
This problem appeared with “riscos-2015-02-17-RC14”
Under RC14 I adjust Screen setup to “Video7 L22WD…Colours 16 million…Resolution 1360 × 765”. All are perfect with the resized screen.
I shut down the RBPI then reboot it. Now I get bad screen (see http://cocoa.pod.free.fr/ROO_Bug.JPG) and I’ve to format SD card then install RC14 again !!!!!! So I go back to riscos-2014-06-04-RC12a and I have not this Problem.

I’m having some similar problems. I’m using AnyMode instead of a MDF and have some obey files to set screen modes.

Both with the Display Manager and the simple obey files with WimpMode commands I am getting similar results to yours.

I have overcome them temporarily by having a file called Restore in Library that I can access from the F12 command line which sets WimpMode 32, and for my two obey files setting HD and 1360 × 768 I prefix each WimpMode command with one setting 1280 by 720 in 16M colours.

Thus the HD file is:

WimpMode X1280 Y720 C16M

WimpMode X1920 Y1080 C16M

WimpMode X1280 Y720 C16M

WimpMode X1360 Y768 C16M

Without this precaution, same with Display manager, I get messed up display or messed up colours, particularly noticeable in NetSurf. The Display Manager otherwise sets the med res one to 64K colours, not 16M.

Anyway, my solution to get the 1360 one you want to use may help you for the moment.
