SpriteExtend problem

There has been a thread running over on the Archive maillist concerning an MSWord document containing a small jpeg being loaded into TechWriter. Recent versions of RISC OS 5 throw an error from the spriteextend module. Older versions appear to load the document/jpeg fine.

For example, Iyonix v. 5.16, spriteextend v. 1.21 are ok. Iyonix v. 5.22 and spriteextend v. 1.65 throw a wobbly. Versions of spriteextend in RISC OS 4 and 6 also appear to be OK.

Is any work being done on spriteextend at the moment? I do have a copy of the offending document.
