5.23 18th July Iyonix Softload ROM error

Hi I’ve just tried to update the softload from the 5.23 5th July to the 18th July version and that won’t boot as it stops when it tries to initialise the Resolver module with the following error: Init mod ResolverError: Data Abort:Abort on data transfer at &FC01E134 (Error number &80000002). I have tried it with a fresh Choice.Boot set up and also reinstalling the ZeroPain module as well and it gives the same error. I have reverted back to 5th July beta softload to continue testing the impact of the zero page relocation on the programmes I use and testing of fixes sent to me. |

Seconded. |

I believe a fix for that has been submitted to ROOL and is just waiting for them to get a chance to commit a new Resolver binary (it’s one of the few remaining closed-source ROM components). |

For information. It seems to be contagious, I have just built the Pi 2015-07-23 ROM from the Source code archive and that fails at the same point on the Pi, at &FC01EC30 in this case. There is nothing obvious in the build log! |

Should be sorted starting with tonight’s builds, hopefully. |

The 2015-07-31 ROMs as built from the Source code daily archives are good on both the Iyonix and Raspberry Pi, Resolver is resolved. (The beta builds, at the time of writing, remain at 2015-07-25.) |
