With the 05-08-2015 HardDisc4, Printers aborts on startup with the error; “‘Resources:$.Resources.RemotePrin.Messages’ is a directory”. Replacing RemPrnSpt with the previous version prevents the error message. Printers version is 1.83 (19-02-14) with only the PDF printer definition installed. Beagleboard -xM. RISC OS 5.23 (05-08-2015). |

I can confirm the same issue with 5.23 (4th July 15) Pi ROM. The version of RemPrnSpt, 1.13 (17th Dec 2013) is the same for both todays version and the previous one. However the file size is different , 6616 for 5th Aug version and 6608 for the previous one. |

Just double click on the RemPrnSpt module for the error. The messages filename is at &257C, in the old working version it is |

Oops – should be fixed in tomorrow’s disc image. You’re to be applauded for keeping track of the bleeding edge, with over 700 components in the ModuleDB the more people who are taking the nightly builds out for a test drive the better. This all goes back to a change in the shared makefile which is actually inspired by an entirely unrelated Toolbox change I’m still sitting on. It looks like the RES_PATH concept has become redundant as there are only 5 things left using it, 2 of which are known broken, 2 of which I’ve unwittingly fixed a different way, and the last isn’t used in anything so is currently bit rot. |
