Not sure they are bogus.

I didn’t mean bogus as incorrect, I meant bogus as invalid for the following code that performs shifting expecting the result to be a multiple of four (as it has been for every RISC OS device up until now).

2GB – 4k – 2.5MB which looks about right (some space reserved for ROM).

What sort of ROM, and what’s the extra 4K for? I ask because the RISC OS ROM image is around 5MiB, and until now it has always appeared as something mapped into memory and accounted for. Indeed, if RISC OS is to “run from ROM”, it will need to be mapped into memory.
So what’s this 2.5MiB hole?
