The read only copy on the ROOL web site has a fixed module. The read-write version is upgradable to v1.44 with a similar fix.

I still had 1.43, now with the 1.44 upgrade it works fine, sorry, missed out on that upgrade… @Martin: 1.43 was reporting an internal error due to data transfer, &20613890, while I tried to copy a BASIC file to an ZIP archive, strangely copying a textfile to the archive was okay.
