Ah, that’ll be the untar process cocking-up then. It shouldn’t look like that. I think I need to revisit the ‘tar’ source code and work out why it’s doing that to some of the subdirectories (e.g. taking something which should be castle.RiscOS.Sources.Utilitles.Foo.Bah.Wibble and extracting it to Utilities.Foo.Bah.Wibble).

There was a discussion about tar some time ago in the ‘General → <Global/HalEntries.h> missing’ forum. You can find a changed version of ‘UnTarBZ2e.zip’ here
It fixes the 100 limit filename size and the filetype problem with names exactly 100 chars long.
