ZeroPain log

Having just started playing with a high vector ROM on my model 2 B Pi, I have noticed that the latest version of !Zap downloaded from !Store, version 1.48 (13-Sep-2011) tnk-7 generates ZeroPain entries. It is shown in !Store as ‘unknown supplier’ so, hopefully, including the ZeroPain log here will result in a fixed version being uploaded in due course. (The log means nothing to me but presumably will allow the problem to be found.)

May I suggest asking if there is a known update before dumping a huge ZeroPain log into the forum? Because if you had, I’d have pointed you to v1.48 (12 Jul 2015) tnk-11. You can get the latest Zap module from http://www.tankstage.co.uk/Software/ZeroZap.zip Unfortunately, Tank’s latest sources are not available, and for some reason this hasn’t been merged into whatever !Store offers. Not that I can tell more, !Store just crashes on my system… |

I wonder if !Store is getting its version of !Zap from here? → https://github.com/jaylett/zap |

It seems to crash if you sort on supplier. edit the choices to Sort on and Sort by “3” |

For me – it starts, it downloads catalogue updates, then it bombs out. And, since the self-updater doesn’t appear to keep an older copy of the program, I can’t even roll back to see if that works better (but then, it would probably just update itself). |

Just tried it on another machine and it does as you say if it has the sort on supplier set in choices. It downloads the update and then bombs out. Altering the choices file as I outlined sorts it out and it downloads and updates the catalogue ok. Still bombs out if you select the supplier to sort. |

May I suggest asking if there is a known update Sorry, I had forgotten (tnk-11 now rings a bell) and will download that. I had thought that !Store would be the latest released version… |

That relies upon somebody putting together an updated archive, hosting it, and updating Store. Sadly, for Ovation, it was put there on my behalf, but I don’t have edit rights, so… Big Blue Notice time :-) https://www.heyrick.co.uk/blog/index.php?diary=20160214 |

Have you tried an email explanation to Andrew asking to change it to you? He is usually helpful, but you will probably have to register as a ‘Supplier’ first. |
