Sibelius 7 Demo RO5.23

Ref Sib7 demo VRPC-DL.
Have been running it on RO4.02 – up to 2048 × 1536 – seems to work – play music ok.

It seems to work ok with RO5.23 1280 × 800 starting in a 64thousand or less mode.

But with RO 5.23 (12May 17) 1280 × 800 it works – but on returning from play mode after starting in 16M col – the Wimp_SetMode info is wrong.

Dropping back into Desktop in a 4 Col mode.

What are the exact parameters needed by Wimp_SetMode?

That’s a mode selector block

00000500 width = 1280
00000320 height = 800
00000005 log2bpp = 5 (32bpp)
FFFFFFFF frame rate = any
00000003 mode variable: ncolour
FFFFFFFF value: -1 (i.e. 32bpp)
(should be more pairs of words here, until 1st word in pair is -1)

Slight differences between RO4.02 and RO5.23 – hopefully fixed.

Had the Sib7 Demo running :-

1280 × 800
1600 × 1200
2048 × 1536
and
1536 × 2048 rotate -whole page on screen.

Loads to icon bar only – Iyonix.

Any ideas for a fake 4 colour screen?

Anyone? Please! I’m not looking for the full version (unless someone has it!). It’s purely to indulge my magpie like process of trying to accumulate all the software I used or I wanted but couldn’t get as a teenager. I’m also finding older versions of software titles to make sure that I have a copy that will work from RISC OS 2 up to 5.23/6.20.

Good old Uni Stuttgart FTP server…I did quite a good job back then when all we had was mail, news, ftp, irc and gopher…
