Maestro 2.03 Error message

I have downloaded the latest HardDisc image, 11th June 17, and installed it but on trying to load Maestro 2.03 I get the following message: Unknown or missing variable (Internal error 5075) Maestro will not load. I also updated to the 11th June ROM but this does not clear the message but reverting back to Maestro 2.02 (27th May 17) does. So it looks as if the recent changes to Maestro have caused an issue at least on this Pandaboard. |

Getting uncompressed BASIC from cvs shows the offending line to be line 3088 :- SYS SendMessage, 17, message_buffer%, 0 This is better :- SYS "Wimp_SendMessage", 17, message_buffer%, 0 P.S. This was with Maestro 2.04. |

Wild guess time – are you running a Theme that isn’t Sovereign, Morris4 or Ursula? IIRC the changes involved the quality of sprites used. If that’s the issue a heavy handed “fix” would be to copy the existing sprite sets as a directory housed set matching your selected theme. |

Steve Thanks for the suggestion as I am running another theme but changing it to one of the three mentioned does not clear the issue. I see that a change has been made now so will test in the morning. |

OK so I’ve downloaded the latest harddisc image this morning and tried Maestro 2.04 and that gives the same error message. I have also changed the theme to Morris4 and still the same. |

dave_j Just downloaded the self extracting hardisc image again and extracted Maestro and it works this time. Perhaps I downloaded yesterdays file again though the one I downloaded yesterday had 2.03 in the messages file and todays earlier one 2.04? Anyway good to confirm it now works so thanks for the fix. |
