Nasty noise when softloading OS

The latest Iyonix softload (5.19 9-Mar-2012) makes a nasty noise when booting.

The sequence is this:

Machine boots from rom
Softload application runs and prints stuff on the screen
Screen goes blank
Nasty noise
Startup beep
Normal boot message on screen

Everything seems OK from that point on.

Are you using the latest version of the softload tool? That should solve the issue.

Ah no I’m not. I was just updating the ROM image inside the softloader.

Sorry, I’ll update the tool itself and report back.
