Dodgy wiki redirects

I tried using the “change page name” option to rename Service_Sound Handler Types to Service_Sound Reason Codes. Although the rename has worked, there still seems to be a phantom page left at the old location, which isn’t redirecting to the new one (e.g. try the links on the Service_Sound page, as I haven’t updated that to point to the new location yet). If I try looking at the history of the phantom page, it takes me to the “create page” form. If I try using the “See changes” option on the phantom page, the redirect kicks in and takes me to the Service_Sound Reason Code changes, together with the “redirected from blah blah blah” message. Hmm, on further inspection, if I refresh the tab containing the Service_Sound page, then the links have been magically updated to point to the new location – so it looks like the redirects only work when the wiki engine outputs HTML containing a link to the page, rather than when you try visiting the page? Which means it’s pretty useless for redirecting any external links. |

The source has gone too.
Which disappears if the page is refreshed.
Sorry to be dumb, but I’m missing something here. Andrew, are you here? |

Actually those instiki docs you link to do say that it should work with external links:
So I guess that feature is broken for us. |
