HOMM2 and Chaos Engine on RPi?

Is it possible to play Heroes of Might & Magic 2 and Chaos Enigne on Raspberry Pi? I have HOMM2 for DOS from GOG.com and I tried to play it via DosBox, but it’s too slow and has problems with reading audio tracks from cd image (RISC OS version of DosBox seems to be compiled without SDLSound support, which is required to properly recognize mixed cd content, where data and audio tracks exist in the same image). I would happily buy those games if they were available through the !Store, and I hope I’m not the only one. |

HOMM2 should still works under Aemulor. It’s reported to work too under ADFFS. |

It certainly does run under ADFFS, here’s a video of me playing it on a Pi3 and in combination with the updated CDFaker you also have CD-Audio. I’ve yet to look at getting Chaos Engine running, but it works okay under ArcEm…again, here’s a video of me playing it, running under ArcEm on a Pi2. |

This is great! Thank you for the explanation, and for the videos – especially the first one, which shows the required setup. |

A short follow-up to the topic: I just received my copy of HoMM 2 from R-Comp and it works great under AemulorPi. |
