Trying to make something that hits the fundamentals of the OS work in both RO5 and a legacy OS in an act of niceness bordering on insanity?

I’ve been trying to bring VectorExtend up to date, which has been rotting since about RO 3.80.

Brief reminder: VectorExtend does three things of increasing usefulness:

1. Increases the number of vectors, so vectors can be allocated, and provides dynamically allocated vectors
2. Introduces the concept of priority to claimants, solving the chronology problem that led to DeepKeys being called !!DeepKeys
3. Allows any SWI to be vectored automatically and invisibly

I got tired of thinking “this would be a lot easier if VectorExtend worked on ROx.xx” so I’ve been updating it. RO6’s SWI and vector handlers however… wow. And I know someone will say “six is dead”, but there are some users of it, and I am version agnostic on principle.

And 3QD if you wanted to buy all the source/parts ROL wrote for their branch to release. Would actually be nice to have some of those bits but available to bring in to rool version but guess will never happen.
