Disc image broken

30/08/12 disc image has a mixture of old and new layout. By example, SparkFS appears in both Utilities and Third Party (the latter which shouldn’t be there anymore). Also Documents.Music, Sound & so on. |

Works for me: I checked the bz2 download on Windows XP and expanded the self extracting utility on a BBxM. |

It works – it just has the wrong content. ‘Third Party’, ‘Sound’ & their content were moved/deleted yesterday. |

I don’t know whether my problems with recent disc images are related, but on my BB, when I click on the SD card icon on the iconbar, I get disc drive is empty despite the fact that it can’t possibly be. I notice that the pair of green LEDs nearest the SD card are not lit. |

By ‘works for me’ I meant ‘the contents are correct, including the locations of all files’ rather than that I actually ran any of the contents (which I did not). |

Unless I’ve really screwed up HardDisc4.$ should only contain !Boot, Apps, Diversions, Documents, Printing, Public & Utilities. |

I’ve screwed up. Must have had an old copy of HD4 in the same location that the new one decanted into. Can’t think what else it might have been. Just downloaded again to an empty directory and… you’re correct! Sorry for the false alarm. |

I can now read the contents of the SD card. It may be I need to wait a little longer before clicking on the SD card icon to give time for the SD card to be ready (initialised? mounted?) after power on. |
